Established in 1846 as the Miller's Friend, this pub was renamed the Gepps Cross in 1848. It was the Victoria Cross for a while and then the Gepps Cross again. The pub and suburb of Gepps Cross (the pub's actually in the suburb of Blair Athol) take their names from the first licensee of the hotel, Issac Gepp. It overlooks the biggest intersection in Adelaide.
